Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Quality Control to lead our quality assurance team. This role is crucial in overseeing the inspection of ventilated lace caps and finished wigs, setting quality standards, and ensuring that all products align with Wow Braids' commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Standards Development:
  • Develop and implement quality control standards for ventilated lace caps and finished wigs.
  • Continuously update quality guidelines in line with industry best practices.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead and manage teams responsible for inspecting ventilated caps and finished wigs.
  • Provide training and guidance to ensure team members are proficient in quality control processes.
  • Inspection and Compliance:
  • Oversee the inspection processes to ensure all products meet quality standards.
  • Implement corrective measures and improvements based on inspection outcomes.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Continually assess and refine quality control processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with production teams to integrate quality control into all stages of production.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and outcomes.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on quality assurance matters.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Quality Control, Production Management, or related field. 
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a quality control leadership role, preferably in the beauty, hair dressing, fashion, textile, or related industry.
  • Skills:
  • Expert knowledge of quality control standards and processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
